Redhawks fall to Saints in Bronze medal Game Print E-mail

St Catharines - The Redhawks last the rematch between the hometown Saints in the bronze medal game.  Playing their 7th game in as many days takes a toll on both teams.  The Redhawks and Saints were ties at 3 at the end of the first period and tied at 5 at the end of the second period.  The Saints then scored 3 unaswered goals before the Redhawks answered back with 2 goals of their own.  The Ssaints then captured the bronze with two goals to make the score 10-7.

Congratulations to all of the Redhawks' players, coaches, staff, and fans for a great season.

Redhawks jumped out to an early 5-0 lead over Rocky View Knights and were able to advance on with a 13-10 win.

Up next for the Redhawks are the Six Nations Rivermen at 5pm.  This is a repeat matchup between the two clubs of the 2014 Presidents Cup Final.

Game 2 of the Presidents Cup saw two recent Presidents Cup champions battle with the host team St. Catharines Saints coming out on top 13-7.

2015_game1cSt. Catharines, ONT – The Redhawks held the lead for all of 6 seconds; and that was enough to secure a win over the Capital Region Axeman 9-8 in the first game of the 2015 Presidents Cup.
