Tsha'hon'nonyen'dukhwa' is located on the Onondaga Nation. The Onondaga Nation is sovereign territory which
uses the traditional chiefs and clanmothers to govern themselves.
The building was constructed in 2001 after years of anticipation. The building uses the symbolism
of the Haudenosaunee in its design. The colors of the arena are purple and white, the colors used in our wampum
belts.
The front of the arena displays two belts. One shows the union of 5 nations (the Haudenosaunee), the Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga,
Oneida, and Mohawk. Directly below the five connected symbols, is the two row wampum belt easily recognized by the
two parallel purple strips. The belt represents two people, the Haudenosaunee and thier new white brothers living together in peace, separate, and equal.
The arena has seating on both sides and has seating for 2,000 fans. The arena also has multiple dressing rooms ready for tournament play.
Fans can also enjoy pizza and burgers at the FAST BREAK cafe.
The floor surface is 200ft. X 85ft. The ice surface will be on by in October. There are plenty of opportunities to rent ice for local lockey, figure skating
or birthday parties. Call for more information @ 315.498.6813 or visit Tsha'Hon'nonyendakhwa'
